Personal branding is the process of how we market ourselves to others.
The marketing guru Tom Peters first coined the phrase, “Personal Branding” in a Fast Company article in 1997: “Big companies understand the importance of brands. Today, in the age of the individual, you have to be your own brand…We are all CEOs of our own companies: Me, Inc.”
We have assembled an outstanding panel of speakers to help us learn and understand what personal brands are and why they are an important part of a career plan. We’ll also learn how to manage social media, personal appearance and communication skills in the pursuit of building a brand for the most important asset we have: ourselves.
